What we collect and store

When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data displayed in the comment form, the visitor's IP address and the browser user agent to combat spam.

An anonymised string created from your e-mail address (also called a hash) may be sent to the Gravatar service if you use it. The privacy policy page can be found here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After your comment is approved, your profile picture is publicly visible in the context of your comment.

When uploading images to the website, you should avoid uploading images that contain GPS location data (EXIF data). Website visitors can download the images from your website and see this location data.

When you leave a comment on our site, you can indicate whether your name, e-mail address and website may be stored in a cookie. We do this for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in these details again when you leave a new comment. These cookies are valid for one year.

If you have an account and you log in to this website, we store a temporary cookie to determine whether your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is deleted when you close your browser.

Once you log in, we will store some cookies related to your login information and screen display options. Login cookies are valid for 2 days and screen display option cookies are valid for 1 year. If you select "Remember me", your login will be saved for 2 weeks. As soon as you log out of your account, the login cookies will be deleted.

When you edit or publish a post, an additional cookie is stored by your browser. This cookie contains no personal data and merely contains the post ID of the article you edited. This cookie expires after one day.

  • Shipping address: we ask you to fill in this information so that we can, for example, calculate the shipping costs before you place an order and then ship it to you!

We also use cookies to store products in your shopping basket as you browse our site.

When you purchase products from us, we ask you to provide information, including your name, billing address, shipping address, e-mail address, telephone number, credit card/payment information and optional account information, such as a user name and password. We use this information for the following purposes:

If you create an account, your name, address, e-mail address and telephone number are used to automatically fill in the checkout details for future orders.

In general, we store information about you for as long as we need it for the purpose for which we collect and use it. We are not legally obliged to keep it. We keep order information for 10 years for tax and accounting purposes. This information includes your name, email address, and billing and shipping address.

We will also store any comments or reviews that you leave.

Embedded content of other websites

How long we keep your data

When you leave a comment, that comment and its metadata are stored forever. This way, we can automatically recognise and approve follow-up comments instead of having to moderate them.

For users who register on our website (if applicable), we also store personal information in their user profile. All users can view, change or delete their personal information at any time (only the user name cannot be changed). Administrators of the website can also view and change this information.
